This is a really stunning plant in the "Jewel Alocasia" group like A. infernalis, A. cuprea, and A. reginula. These have lighter super velvety foliage and usually have a more shrub like growth pattern. They do not get too large making it the perfect houseplant!
Foliage will occasionally age/mature with a yellowish hue. This is natural for the plant!*
Alocasia will need bright filtered flight to really thrive. They will naturally shift their foliage orientation towards the strongest source of light. Sometimes, if an Alocasia leaves look like they are 'bowing' or the foliage is making an 'umbrella' shape this can be an indicator that it is not getting enough light. In general, they will like to dry out roughly 2"-3" from the top of the soil it is rooted in. This may roughly every 10-12 days depending on your home environment. When repotting, use a semi-coarse soil that will drain water well.
