We are currently looking for a new member to bring onto our team! The job position available is for a part-time shopkeeper. Someone who is passionate about plants and sharing that excitement with patrons that pass through the shop.
OPEN POSITION:
Part-Time Shopkeeper
This is exclusively for a part time position and will only have 1-3 working days at the shop per week. Shifts are about 7.5hrs 10:30-6.
Part-time Shopkeeper Responsibilities:
- Engaging and assisting customers ensuring they feel welcomed and have any & all questions answered.
- Maintaining the shop ensuring plants are looking healthy and watered.
- Keeping the shop beautifully merchandised and clean.
- Consistent communication with shop team and managers. Such as watering and etc.
- Restocking plants, pottery, & supplies.
Requirements:

Getting hands on and dirty with plants! (repotting, ect.)

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. (This can be a labor intensive job at times.)
- Must be tolerant of working in heat and hot weather. Above 90 degrees at times without AC during warmer months.

Prior plant care experience and general plant knowledge.

Pest identification and management skills.
- Must be able to work weekends.

Personable and willingness to engage with customers.

Ability to be flexible in shifting between multiple tasks and recognize which tasks take priority. Customers are always the main priority.
- Must be self motivated and able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to take guidance and tasks from managers + team members.
Pay & Hours:
- Starting at $18/hr
- 10-15 hours a week.
- 7 Days Paid Sick
