Philodendron gigas is one of the largest Philodendron species, and they're native to Panama. Though their leaf length may not reach 3'-4' in a home setting, they can still hit a sizable amount! Especially if you give them a good support to climb.
Care
Naturally they climb upon trees we can simulate this with a moss pole which will produce larger growth. They like bright indirect light never direct sun. We water our philodendrons once every 7-10 days. We recommend potting most aroids in coarse mix with good drainage. This plant does appreciate some extra humidity.
All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection.Philodendron gigas is one of the largest Philodendron species, and they're native to Panama.
