We are absolutely smitten by miniature orchids! They're in spike too! This is a hybrid of Oncidium cheirophorum (pod parent) and Oncidium ornithorhynchum (pollen parent). It originated in Hawai'i in 1958. Their bloom color is white and is said to smell like vanilla!
Orchids such as the Oncidium will like a bright indirect light (they will not flower in lower light conditions). They will also like warmer spring and summer conditions to encourage blooming. We recommend watering once the moss starts to feel a little crunchy, which may roughly be about every 7-10 days. They also love a good feeding! It will especially help with getting them to bloom more regularly.
