Haemanthus deformis is a unique evergreen bulb native to the mountains and coasts of South Africa. They usually keep just a couple of their fuzzy-flat leaves, but can hold up to three leaves. Unlike other Haemanthus species, deformis' bulb will grow under the soil rather than having it exposed. They are able to endure some colder conditions.
CARE
They prefer bright filtered to filtered light, does not need direct light. You can water this plant once every 10-12 days. Since they're an evergreen, they do appreciate a little more water and don't want to dry out too long. Plant them in a very coarse mix, like a cactus mix!
