Euphorbia platyclada

Euphorbia platyclada

This Euphorbia looks like a pot of dead sticks, but we LOVE it! This funky plant is endemic to Madagascar growing in forests of Alluaudia. It gets a lovely deep purple tan when exposed to strong sun. Unusual to see in cultivation!

These will do best in a very bright light if not partial direct sun. Water roughly every 10-14 during the spring and summer when the soil is dry or the foliage feels limp. Watering can be cut back to every 3-4 weeks come the winter time when they are dormant. When repotting, use a coarse cacti soil medium.

All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection.
