This is hands down one of the best species of Alocasia out there. Rightfully so with it's dark metallic, almost black and extraterrestrial looking foliage. This species is from Borneo, endemic to Sabah, and found on slopes in a variety of soil substrates.
CARE
Water roughly every 10-12 days when the soil has dried out from the top 2-3" and place it in a bright filtered light to dapple the direct sun. These plants thrive in well draining mix as it can help maintain a balance of constant moisture but avoiding over or under watering. These will also appreciate a higher ambient humidity!
