These uncommon Peperomias are often referred to as the Beetle Peperomia due to the shape and texture of the leaves resembling a beetle shell! They have thin yet firm red stems with dark green leaves that have light yellow veining. Like most peperomia, these naturally trail along the forest floor. Because of this, they are also somewhat epiphytic so can do well as a hanging plant or mount. They can quickly fill up a pot if you let them!
Care:
Peperomias are semi succulent so they do prefer to dry just a tad more than more tropical plants. We recommend watering every 10-12 days and they require bright filtered light for them to fully thrive. You can usually see when their leaves start to feel less plump or are a bit more flexible as an indicator of when they need water. When repotting, use an all-purpose soil medium.
