Philodendron mayoi is still considered a harder to find Philodendron, so it is quite exciting we got a nice batch of them! The last time we had this plant it must have been over three years ago. When juvenile, their cuts are not as deep, but as they mature the cuts get deeper! They are climbers, so make sure to give them some support, and that way you will get large beautiful leaves.

Care:

These would be happiest in a bright filtered light and taking care to avoid direct sun. As with most aroids, water when roughly the top 2" of soil is dry. This may roughly be once a week depending on your home environment. When repotting use a semi-coarse soil medium that will drain water well.

For best growth results these need to have something to climb up like a moss pole. When not given a surface to climb, a Philodendron like this one can tend to small leaves that lack defined lobes.

All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection.
