We recently have found a new love and appreciation for Pahiopedilums! They have not only beautiful flowers, but their foliage is also stunning. We have not gotten the experience to watch all of them bloom yet, but this one has a white, purple, and pink petals, with a purple pouch. Truthfully, which the flower is stunning, we are more in love with the foliage!

 

Care

Paphiopedilums will appreciate bright indirect light (they will not flower in lower light conditions). They will also like warmer spring and summer conditions to encourage blooming. We recommend watering once the medium starts to feel a little dry, which may roughly be about every 7-10 days. We recommend planting them in a coarse mix, we use thicker chunks of bark.
