Microsorum siamensis 'Blue oil fern' are a lithophytic/epiphytic fern that is native to Southeast Asia. Their most notable characteristic is their blue oil slick leaves, similarly to Microsorum thailandicum. They are also extremely slow growers, and require lots of patience to grow this.
Care
In terms of care they are relatively simple and quite similar to fern care. We recommend weekly waterings, they don't like to dry out for too long. These thrive in medium to low light. Avoid having these in direct sun. In low light conditions, it will encourage the iridescent foliage. If you have a terrarium, they would love to live in there, if not, planting them in indoor potting mix is perfect. They do appreciate lots of humidity!
