One of our favorite Ficus species! Native to parts of Southeast Asia, it's triangular foliage has an almost golden hue. The foliage develops black spots on the underside in between it's veining that can be used to help identify if the flowers will be male or female!
Care:
THESE REQUIRE A VERY BRIGHT SPACE. THIS PLANT WILL NOT DO WELL IN LOWER LIGHT.
These prefer VERY BRIGHT indirect light but they can handle 2-3 hours of direct sun in the morning or evening. We do not recommend these if your space is a little darker! These let these go fairly dry before giving them a full watering again. They would appreciate a watering once every 7-10 days or 10-12 days, depending on the lighting conditions in your home. When re-potting use a semi-coarse soil.
All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection. One of our favorite Ficus species!
