Moss poles are great to add to your climbing plants such as Philodendron or Monsteras. We make these with an inner layer of sphagnum moss, which is superior with moisture retention, then we use an outer layer of sheet moss as a green exterior. It can help to keep your moss pole moist by misting it or sticking your watering can into the moss pole so it trickles down. Since the moss is preserved, there is no upkeep needed for the moss pole itself other than keeping moist. It can be helpful to mist aerial root nodes along your plant as well to help encourage it to naturally attach to your moss pole!
