Aglaomorpha is one of the best fern groups. A lot of the species in the genus are known to be more hardy and tolerant of drier subtropical climates although some species grow in the rainforests. This one is known as "Snake Fern" for is strap like foliage and in the wild pythons will sometimes use their massive rhizomes as nests for shelter. Don't worry these won't seduce pythons into your apartment.
In terms of care they are relatively simple in comparison to those delicate ferns. We recommend weekly waterings and if you happen to repot it make sure the rhizome (fuzzy base) stays exposed and pot into well draining mix. These thrive in bright filtered light and can also thrive in medium light. Avoid having these in direct sun.All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection.
