Philodendron joepii is such a delight to grow, each leaf gets better with age! I mean, what is not to love about those long narrow leaves. This species was first collected in 1995 by Joep Mooneen. He found this plant crawling with ants, which lead him to believe the ants were eating the leaves. However, he later realized the plant just naturally grows kinda funky!

Care:

These would be happiest in a bright filtered light and taking care to avoid direct sun. As with most aroids, water when roughly the top 2" of soil is dry. This may roughly be once a week or longer depending on your home environment. When repotting use a semi-coarse soil medium that will drain water well.

All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection.
