This species of Cissus hails from Brazil. Cissus are prolific vine growing plants so can make for an incredible trellis or hanging basket. They produce fine tendrils that will try and grab anything they can for support! They can also make for excellent terrarium plants.

Care:

Cissus can be fast growers under the rights conditions! They will do best in a very bright filtered light while taking care to avoid any direct sun. They like to stay lightly on the moist side so it is best to water when the top 1" of soil starts to dry. Do not let it go too dry between waterings! Similarly, Cissus will do better in more humid environments, so take care to avoid any harsh drafts or dry areas. Waterings may roughly be once a week depending on your home environment. When repotting it is best to use a slightly chunky coarse soil that will drain water well.

All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection.
