Calathea roseopicta

Unit price per

A classic Calathea. They are known their distinct markings and for their photonastic movements. During the day, their leaves are horizontal to photosynthesize and at night, their leaves close up vertically.

Calathea thrive in indirect light (no direct sun) and like to stay slightly moist. Though they are able to tolerate lower amounts of light as well! Water  when the first 1-2" of soil starts to dry out. This may roughly be about once a week depending on your home environment. They will like a nice humid environment as well. You do not have to have the highest levels of humidity, but it is best to avoid any sort of harsh drafts or dry spaces! When re-potting use an all purpose soil medium.
