Dischidia oiantha variegata
Dischidia oiantha is a wonderful shingling species of Dischidia, like all Dischidia they are in the same family of plants as Hoyas. These are epiphytes which basically means they grow on trees or even rocks similar to orchids, although they still do perfectly fine in a coarse mix.
These would thrive as a mounted plant or in a hanging basket which can help mimic it's natural environment. Although they do just as nicely in a potted planter. Dischidia care is very similar to Hoya care. They like a very nice bright filtered light and can go slightly on the dry side when it comes to watering. Water every 10-14 days as the pot drys or the foliage feels limp rather than firm. When re-potting use a semi-coarse soil medium.
