These Calathea are some of our favorites. As they mature their leaves will grow into more of a round shape that really stand out due to the lush light green color of the leaves. Like all Calathea, their leaves move around during the day; leaning horizontal to photosynthesize during the day and closing vertically at night. Ships in a nursery pot.
It is very very common for Orbifolia to get beauty marks. Little brown marks or bruise are nothing to worry about.
These thrive in indirect light (no direct sun) and like to stay slightly moist in the soil. Water every 5-7 days as the top 1-2" of soil drys out. When re-potting use an all purpose soil medium. All of our plants are ethically sourced from certified U.S. nurseries. We strongly condemn the poaching of plants or wild collection.
