Asplenium nidus "crissie" Mount
The Asplenium genus in general are very hardy/durable compared to some other ferns. This Japanese Bird Nest variety is known for its incredibly ripply and scrunched up foliage which only gets more intense as it matures. Ships in a nursery pot.
Mounts are great ways to grow your plant as they can mimic epiphytic conditions that plants would normally experience in their natural habitats. Ferns like a bright indirect light. We recommend watering every 7-10 days once the moss is fully dry. Their foliage will usually get pale grey as an indicator when they do need water. When they do need water, you can either soak the moss of the mount for 10-15 minutes in body of water or run it under a faucet in short bursts until the moss has a sponge-like texture.
