Calathea are truly fascinating and boast wildly bright and intricate foliage. Calathea ornata is known for its pink pin-striping while this recent cultivar "Calathea vittata/elliptica" introduced just last year has super bright white striping with a deep green leaf to contrast.

Care:

We recommend watering every 5-7 days or whenever the first 1-2" of soil goes dry. Calathea do not like to go very dry! In terms of lighting they need to be in strictly filtered light so no direct sun during the day. When re-potting use an all purpose soil medium.
