A classic Calathea. They are known their distinct markings and for their photonastic movements. During the day, their leaves are horizontal to photosynthesize and at night, their leaves close up vertically.
Calathea thrive in indirect light (no direct sun) and like to stay slightly moist. Water every roughly once a week only when the first 1-2" of soil starts to try out. Similarly, they will like a nice humid environment as well. It is best to avoid any sort of harsh drafts! When re-potting use an all purpose soil medium.
