Aloe brevifolia var. depressa
This is one of our favorite species of Aloe given its frosty blue foliage. This frosty blue acts as a sunscreen in the desert and protects the plant from intense sun.
Because of their "sunscreen" they definitely handle direct sun to even bright filtered light. We recommend watering every 2-3 weeks during the spring and summer as the foliage gets slightly squishy to the touch. Cut back to once a month an keep dry during the winter. When repotting, use a coarse well draining cacti soil medium.
